Verseheart is a place for people sharing something personal. A few simple things keep it good for everyone.
Your work stays yours
When you post a poem here, you keep all the rights to it. It's your work, always. Posting it on Verseheart simply gives us permission to display it on the site so others can read it, nothing more. You can delete your poems, or your whole account, anytime.
Only post what you wrote
Please share only poems you created yourself. Don't post someone else's poems, song lyrics, or writing as if it were your own, that's not fair to them, and it isn't allowed. Quoting a line for inspiration is fine; passing off another's work as yours is not.
Be kind
Feedback is welcome and encouraged, but offer it gently. Everyone here is being brave by sharing. No harassment, hate, or cruelty. If someone's bothering you, you can block them from their profile.
