Terms of use

Last updated June 24, 2026.

1. Your content and rights

You retain full ownership and copyright of every poem, comment, and other content you post on Verseheart. By posting, you grant Verseheart a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your content on the site for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

2. Only post work you have the right to share

You agree to post only content you created or otherwise have the right to publish. You may not post material that infringes anyone else's copyright or other rights, including poems, lyrics, or text written by others, unless you have permission.

3. Reporting infringement

If you believe content on Verseheart infringes your copyright, contact us at versehearthelp@gmail.com with a description of the work and a link to the material in question, and we will review and remove infringing content where appropriate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Verseheart to harass others, post unlawful or hateful content, spam, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for activity on your account. You may deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

6. No warranty

Verseheart is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for content posted by users or for any loss arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Verseheart after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These plain-language terms are provided in good faith but are not legal advice. If Verseheart grows or begins charging for features, consider having a lawyer review them.
