Wait
Should you vanish
Hear me —
from the ashes of our love,
I penetrate the
shroud of smoke,
grasping for what
you may abandon
I never meant to lose you,
to the emptiness between us.
I don't give up that easily.
You are someone
I care about deeply.
You are poised to leave,
your flesh marked with pain,
your heart hardened,
you are exhausted,
so am I —
but I remain, my lady.
I want no other —
but you.
I am very sorry for that,
I don't know how
I can undo those things.
This is not what I wanted and —
I love you dude.
I don't want this to be the end...

Notes:
Old poem from some time ago.
If love was written in a male's perspective, with a twist of some of his text messages.
I think it was a challenge to be in his zone to write this.
I have clocked out of our love but he's trying to save it.
Funny how the heavens messed with us, when I was trying hard to save the relationship until I clocked out, signs of him wanting our relationship now...
